Another rainy day out with Dav Thomas and this time we were on our way to Ingleton but got lost over the top of Malham. It's a good job we did as we found a wonderful little area of limestone pavement near Winskill. The rain was persistent but with the aid of a brolly (Dav Thomas even had a miniature flash mounted brolley to cover his grads!) I took this picture of a tree in spring bloom twisting out of the side of the pavement. The sheep and erratic in the distance seem so typical of this area of the Yorkshire dales. A subtle photograph but one I enjoy coming back to.
