On a family holiday in Rock, Charlotte (my wife), her brother and partner and I went to the dunes all to allow me to capture a sunset. We arrived with little time to spare as the sun was close to the horizon already. I would like to say that I was composed and measured but in fact I was like a panicked chicken as I set up my composition. Some of this must have subconciously come through in the picture where I wanted to capture the wind coming directly from the sun. One of the great advantages of large format lenses are their ability to shoot straight into the sun without flare, used to good effect here. Sometimes completely clear skies lead to dull pictures, but not here.
