Although I have visited Ingleton quite a few times, most visits have been to climb up Twistelon Scar. This time, whilst walking with Nigel Halliwell, we decided to climb up the other side of the valley to a place called Keld Head Scar. The limestone pavements here are amazing, with a lot more changes over small areas than I have seen elsewhere. I was having problems finding exposures but when I found this erratic but more importantly the shape of the rocks foreground and the arc of the background shelving (plus some nice clouds) made my day... I was worried that the farm in the background would be a distraction but I needn't have; there is enough elsewhere in the picture to keep the eye busy.
